This is the first time I've encountered this I think, so forgive my lack of understanding.

What does it mean if a rubber is listed both in the main pages, and the annex? This seems to be the case with some of the listed DHS rubbers, but not the other brands?

That is interesting. Looks like about half of the DHS catalogue of rubbers. 666, 777, 888, H2, H3, PF4..... hope all of these don't become "invalid" after June 30th or Ma Long's going to be in a fix.

I thought it odd too that all those DHS rubbers would be going. Galaxy Earth and Jupiter too, though those might be fair enough.

What date was it? 1 April?

The old version of these rubbers (ones without the extra ITTF number) are discontinued, but the same rubbers WITH that extra number remains valid.

Looks like Gambler Peacekeeper is on the way out?

That's a shame... it's quite a good rubber... they must not be selling well. :(

Does anyone have a clue if racket coverings photos on the ittf page are going to be back? Apparently, they may turn out ot be helpful when trying to discern fake rubbers frm the original ones (especially by pimples-out rubbers)? I can't find them and the old version of the website seems to be off.

So any sightings of Tenergy 05N and 09C yet? Looks like they added another one - 14-033 - Tenergy 05 Hard. So that makes FOUR versions of Tenergy 05. Plain Old, FX, N and Hard. If this were a Chinese company there'd be just one listing - Tenergy 05, and they'd just add qualifiers on the packaging. Instead they make four distinct topsheets (which are geometrically all the same except for the name part of the mold) and have four separate listings in the LARC. This would cost four times as much, however I'm sure they can afford it.. Imagine if Kokutaku took this route with 868 - they'd have to have 10 or 11 entries in the LARC..

Approval fees is an expenditure unbearable on Manufacturer's side, indeed.

To have a new rubber brand enlisted to the LARC will cost you 10.000 USD, and 2.000 fees per year to mantain the brand in the LARC. Just see for the fees in the T7 ITTF Leaflet of Administrative Subjects, the newest edition.

Wow, that is a LOT more compared to what it used to be!!!
