It is Strange to se that Those players Which really use spin improve with the new ball ( Timo Boll) And the Chinese Which live of speed cant get used to the new ball. The predictions were the opposition, everybody meant the the new ball would kilo the spin game And Tabletennis would turn into a Hitting game. What is Your view on this situation have we read the situation wrong or is it Maybe the reduced pace that helps the spin players ? Will this help Defensive players as Well ? |

My understanding is that they changed the algorithm for the ranking system. I think that the current system is weighted heavily on recent results hence the odd rankings. |
