Here is an OOAK scoop!

The ITTF licensing fee for the first rubber on LARC 2019A increased from 1800USD to 3200USD. Every additional rubber is 220USD.

SEEING IS BELIEVING...

Just a rumour, there is no good evidence of the ITTF having revisioned approval fees on the rubber products this year. No good evidence at all.

Nice to actually have information. So it turns out the $6000 figure was wrong, and if it costs $220 for each subsequent rubber then it is vastly less than $6000 for each rubber. In any case the cost of a production run of any rubber, even a cheap Chinese one, would dwarf the cost of approval.
