I've just scanned in a Darker Catalogue, and thought it would be useful to put it up as a PDF so that people can download it.

I've got .jpg pictures of each page, so how do I convert all these .jpg files into a single PDF file? I can use a virtual printer to convert a single page to a PDF file, but don't know how to convert multiple one?

CHeers!

haggisv, it requires the right graphics program to do this. Adobe Illustrator or (in Canada) Corel Draw can easily do this.

If you want, email me the jpeg files and I will create a continuous PDF file for you.

The right program allows you to make a multi paged document, with the jpegs put on the pages and one click and the multipage document becomes a "scroll down" multi paged PDF. 8)

Email me if needed, NO PROBLEM!!

(i might have a 1400 rating as a player, but a 2400 as a graphic artist)

THanks a lot glennholder!

I've actually found a way to do it built into Windows XP. From the file manager select the images, and choose Print from the menu, then print them to a virtual PDF printer. It's clumsy but it worked (eventually).

I use Paint Shop Pro 9, but it did not seem to have this inbuilt.

There is also an 'append' option in the virtual printers such as Primo PDF which can help

heyo haggis ^^
i understood right, u want all jpgs as a single pdf? Firstly you are gonna have a bit of work to do (not really) by converting all the jpgs to pdf with something
like http://convertjpgpdf.net/. Then i have found quite a neat site tbh, http://combinepdf.cc/, so basically you can combine all of ur pdfs into
one :)

hope this is what you were looking for and good luck ^^

Hi Skinny ^^, I tried your advice, but did you noticed the extremely large PDF filesize of the output?
That makes the service completely ridiculous in my opinion.
I tried this one in where you can choose what the quality is: http://online-pdf.org

PS. I also dislike websites like that with so many ads :/

There are ways to do this simply with expensive software like Adobe Acrobat (full version), but it can also be done with FoxIt (free).

Just mark all .jpg files in the explorer (not internet explorer). Choose print by right-click. There somewhere you shoulz be able to print many pics to each side. Choose print to .pdf or pdf-writer. It could be that you can print to the same size as the file also, I haven't tried that. I use his for priinting 36 pics per A4 side (humbnails), very useful when you have 100s of pics you need to have an overview of.

I am using this site quite often for converting of jpg to pdf:
http://www.convert-jpg-to-pdf.net/

One of the features that I like the most is it can resize the jpg file to fit in the size that I want.

This is the video tutorial on how to do the conversion.
