How do you think the speed (as in loading time) of this forum compares to other forums, for those of you that visit other forums?

Although I've kept graphics to a minimum, and have no banner or adds, I suspect the speed is limited by the server speed...

both dttw and mytt run on pretty poor servers. They're horribly slow, compared to much larger forums. Lack of funding I guess.

I think the speed is fine. No probs. Mytabletennis.net has loads of ugly graphics. :alien:

You could slip in some TT adverts tho, for funding...and prizes! :king: Presuming the TT companies would be interested in advertising...with perhaps a pay-per-click method. :study:

i think the speed is good !! followed by Mytt.net

DTTW is the slowest of the lot.

Yep speed is quite good even on my dial-up, so long as I don't try and watch TT Vids on Youtube at the same time, haha. Then I have no chance at seeing either.

From my 3 Mb/s DSl connection in the states, this forum, Rob's, Speedplay's, and MyTT load up fast enough. Even on a broadband connection, DTTW can be lagging at first.

From here in Kuwait, I start the page, walk a half km to the loo, and hope the page is loaded by the time I get back. :lol:
