I didn't mean every previous generation. I should have said that at some times and places in the world people have lived happily without the grandiose civic mythology that I was taught.

I agree with 'grandiose civic mythology', but it's been around in some form or another since we learned to make fire and sit around telling stories to each other. I do agree that it seems to have gotten worse in the last thousand years or so, especially as we're enlightened enough in this day and age to be more rational and open minded. However, fear of death and the unknown does weird things to many people's minds. :headbang:

I believe 370 was e-hijacked, but do not believe it was the plane downed in Ukraine. There is no need to dispose of bodies that way nor of the plane there. Yet, the already dead bodies described in Jim's account show a sneaky way to "launder" bodies. "Zombie" flight ideas are not a new thing.

I'm pretty sure it was the same plane. Exact same plane--coincidence.

Same Malaysian Airlines ---- coincidence.

Didn't the former Prime Minister of Malaysia head a investigation into the WMD that led to the illegal

invasion of Iraq, resulting in a million dead or much more.

The investigation found Bush and Cheney guilty on all counts.

Payback perhaps?

All very interesting, shows what we don't know and how the world's power brokers play games!

I think it was just bad luck this time, last time was the fault of the rogue pilot+?, - it's strange nobody used their mobiles when flying back low over malaysia, the chinese onboard would have if possible!, my daughter flew over there in a Singapore airlines jet just days earlier with my baby grandson, frightening ain't it, all of my family are going out to malaysia in a few days time, fate - i believe in it, when your time is up then it is up!

An child could figure out that the invasion over WMD was an excuse to drive up the price of crude oil.

Bush used to be in charge of companies that had large operations extracting oil from the earth, so did Cheney. When there is conflict in an oil producing region, the price of oil skyrockets and the ones who benefit from this price spike are the explorers/producers. An invasion of Iraq was an easy way to accomplish this. Nothing fundamentally jacked up the cost of extracting oil from already established oil fields, it was the fear of shortages that drove up the market price in a hurry. Bush, Cheney, and friends know exactly how that works.

Not only did it benefit the friends of Bush/Cheney, but they had considerable stock in such companies, so no-shyt Sherlock anyone can see who it benefits.

Those who transport oil to a port get around the same money, ditto for the port operations, ditto for the refinery, ditto for who transports it to the petrol station, ditto for the petrol station owner... all their profits are relatively the same fixed margin regardless of the price of oil or fuel. It is the ones who find and extract the oil who take the biggest risks and reap the largest rewards.

On top of all that, Halliburton got awarded a no bid contract to manage Iraq's oil, and anyone try to account for whatever oil was produced and exported? No way that is happening, plus, Halliburton used to own KBS until they spun off, and KBR ran literally EVERYTHING on the Army camps there and had the HUGEST running contract ever. They could pay anywhere from $70,000 to $150,000 to utterly unskilled, morbid-obese, evil asshols to run stuff there without a problem, these are people who would struggle to find employment managing a McDonald's restaurant and there were entire legions of these types there. Think of what the parent company was reeling in.

I am not going to discuss all the money going to black ops companies, just the basis of why I think the invasion was a sham cover job and very poorly done at that, but yet no public outrage over the obvious conflict of interests a 5th grader could easily decipher.

I wouldn't say that this wreckage ISN'T 370, it is possible, but a damned LOT of stuff had to happen for this be. There is too much going on for something to go wrong, but then again, government secret types mess stuff up all the time. Even a professional would not want so many possibilities of stuff going wrong. Too much stuff out of their control and too much possibility of random chance make this a very unattractive operation.

- The plane had to get from wherever it was to Amsterdam without arousing many countries' suspicions. Doubtful that would happen unless many countries are in the "plan".

- The ones running the cover-up had to either convince all the passengers on the original flight to disappear from the grid or kidnap/kill them or at least hold them somewhere.

- Even if the flight had the original people on the flight 17, the long dead stashed in the cargo hold would make an overpowering stench. No way anyone getting on board wouldn't refuse to do so and they would be all over their social media about it.

- How would someone get all those dead bodies to Amsterdam undetected anyway without arousing some suspicions? If the regular cargo handlers were used, one would talk, if they were all sent away, it would be suspicious.

- Why go through all that to get rid of the 370 plane and the people? The plane and the passengers are already accounted for as lost, no need to substitute it. If the masterminds wanted to physically get rid of the plane, they could do a similar remote control e-hijack with a military escort to mask the radar and crash the thing in the big ocean at night with no one around. That is prolly what happened soon after the e-hijack if that is what happened.

Someday, I hope that the mystery of flight 370 will be revealed.

I suspect the truth of it would greatly upset a LOT of us.
