In the interview published past 25th feb. in the diary Cinco Días, Spain's industry, Energy and Tourism minister José Manuel Soria pictured himself with a splendid line. He said "There are countries that are looking at Spain's standard models to try and solve his own problem with sustainables (energies)". The interviewer asked opportunely "What countries?".

Minister's response could puzzle anyone, but this guy still has the charge: "I still don't know"

This is the type of politics we have in our government :swear: :swear:

My immediate reaction was laughing, but I choked on that laugh...
Tragic, really, that our heads of state can utter those glorifying statements and there is no substance to it. I guess you can find that type of politician in every governing body on earth. Let's just hope that they are not the majority...

I can see that these days it is pretty rough, but I am sure that Spain, as well as the other mediterranean countries struggling with the economy, will prosper again. The region is rich in resources, both in nature and in the people. A change is bound to come.

I wonder if things have improved at all NiTTaKu? We don't tend to hear much about Spain in the news these days, so hopefully things have improved a little?

I will give you a NY Times link in response to that Alex:

On any decent country, this joke of a president would have left his position and the party disbanded but... nope :@
