and so he has, in his famous blog:
mynamenotbob wrote:
So wow, 10,000 posts. As far as I'm concerned all were super insightful, or maybe I should say super inciteful. Either way, I guess we covered a lot of ground.

When I think about it, 10,000 is an awful lot of posts. What does one say in 10,000 posts? At first, I didn't post much at all, mainly about equipment. Then the ITTF banned the long pips I was using not once, but on multiple occasions. This led to an interest in learning about and exposing the dirty dealings of the ITTF.

I posted a lot of what I considered to be interesting table tennis videos. I posted occasional news articles to keep everyone informed on the latest happenings in our sport. In general, I tried to be helpful. I also learned an awful lot from our great TT community here.

Some of the highlights included getting into it with Adham Sharara a few times. There were some wacky and hilarious discussions with Larry Hodges and Alex Polyakov (the Breaking 2000 guy). My posts made the ITTF change their rule on marketing rubbers before they're published on the LARC (yes I take credit for that). Of course, I had fun writing this blog.

Most importantly, I made some great friends all over the world. I also connected with some important table tennis people and learned a lot of interesting insider stuff I can't write about. I made a few enemies too, I suppose.

A person would only make 10,000 posts if they enjoyed it, and other than playing table tennis, I enjoy talking about it too. I'm in this sport for life (as opposed to our former USATT CEO).

Don't know what else to say except that it's been a great ride, lots of laughs and I hope my next 10,000 posts will be equally eventful.

Or most people on this forum are quiet / don't like / or feel the need to celebrate successes.

I don't always see eye to eye with MNNB's actions / opinions but I do recognise the hard work he puts in to helping run this forum as a moderator and how much he contributes to the life blood of this forum with his posts.

Every forum relies on proactive members otherwise it dies. MNNB has been and remains one of the best and most contraversial posters we have.

Love him or hate him - I doubt it makes any difference to him - you can't deny the good work he does here. Congratulations MNNB.
