How cool is this? I can see lots of potential for this device in a wide range of industries. Not sure if it's got any application in TT though... it miay not be accurate enough. |

That is cool. I wonder if it can tell sponge hardness, maybe rubber speed and grip? Plastic thickness in the ball? Or maybe just diet control for tournaments |

Or better yet, use it to determine whether a player will cheat; good or bad person; smart or not; security check, human resources, etc, etc. |

NO MORE OF BOOSTING OIL BOOSTING IS A NASTY FRAUDULENCE TO BE EXPELLED once and for all.. NIR SPECTROSCOPY CAN HELP OUT. SCIO IS GOING TO BE EMPLOYED FOR TABLE TENNIS. ITTF has now got interested to give a try to this device, to control illegal additives in player's racket. PROBLEM NO.1. STILL UNSOLVED. Regretfully, we have now got an Army of players to abuse the illegal chemical liquids proliferated into the sport all over.. Those overwhelming raise of Oil Boost illegalities is now getting a real hazard upon our sport, some black plague to corrupt our sport throughout. SCiO in action [tube]BrtGSEwfIJY[/tube] SCIO spectrometer can instantly revial all the hidden oily compounds incorporated into the sponge, other than those having got polymerized. The minimum "threshold" that SCIO can recognize a hidden additive is 1% by weight. Practically, players would spend a big spoonful of liquid booster to apply onto rubber sheet, 20-30% addition inclusion by weigh. It can be detected with SCiO with absolute accuracy. A special mobile application has to be written using the SCiO Developer Kit, web-based builder, programming guidance for the spectrometry works. PRELIMINARY WORKS: All the liquid materials (oil compounds, hydrocarbones, etc.) known to be used as a booster have to be scanned manually so as to make up a comprehensive Spectra Library as a reference basis. = = = = = = = = = = = = So exciting spectroscopy applications forthcoming, so awarding efforts for the good of our sport. BOOSTING? NEVER MORE. DEDICATION. Players of real honour, Timo Boll and Mizutaney Jun, my dear playmates, let me dedicate this anti-boost inquisitons to both of you in person. Honesty is the best policy. Better safe than sorry. Yes. http://dev.consumerphysics.com/blog/second-post/ |

haggisv wrote: Keep dreaming igorponger... I don't think it will happen... I do not make money from selling boosters. Again, strict application of the Law is my job. So I will go on to stop the cheaters from our sport. Every man of honour applauds my efforts, Mr.Koji Kimura of JapanTTA got delighted to employ SCiO to check up players racket "in situ". So did Timo Boll and Mizutaney Jun. Naturally, those crooky players and booster mongers feel unhappy, you know why. I guess the SCiO will make its debut on TT arenas by the year 2018. A lot of preliminary works still needed. Let it be. Honesty is the best policy. Yours sincerely. Igor NOVICK Russia |

Heh.. how much oil do you think it'd find in brand-new, out-of-the-wrap Tenergy 05? Butterfly ain't gonna like it when you accuse them of "cheating"! Iskandar |

No sport would allow people to do the atrocities without being penalized... If anyone knew what you were talking about.. That link's got nothing to do with oil in Tenergy 05. It's a discussion about whether Chinese rubber is better boosted or not, and why the Chinese players are so superior, and what the rubber they use has to do with it. I see one post by you about certain shoes being outlawed by the NBA but as usual, everyone else just ignores you and goes on discussing what they were discussing because what you posted had no bearing on the discussion! So since you are now hot on this machine, have you given up on the "nano-film barrier" idea you were pushing earlier? Iskandar |

SCIO TO JOIN ITTF. Just have got message from SCIO scientific manager Israel based. They got interested to cooperate with ITTF to better apply SCIO DEVICE in detecting illegal boosters. SCIO CAN SEE any oily additives in rubber sheets if over 1% by weight. The test is normally completed in about 1 minute time, right in the racket control Room. I glad to cooperate with SCIO developers, as an advicer. |

As a chemistry major who has been applying to analytical/instrumental graduate programs, I'd be interested in seeing how this thing works physically. I couldn't understand the words very well on my cheap laptop speaker Did someone say that it worked off of NIR? |

Available for everyone interested, shipment starts of March 2017. Device kit is now supplied with a new attributes Which allows you to explore a variety of liquids as well. Good Luck |
