Once upon a time I thought this theory was pure bull.... Now....not so sure. You can see the Chicago skyline across Michigan Bay from Canada. That's 60 miles across and no curvature. I can never sit through videos like that one. Lots and lots of babble, you wonder how much of it's actually factual. Lots and lots of these everywhere, they're usually trying to push some "miracle cure" or product or trying to get you to invest in something. They never actually get to the point. I wonder how this guy explains all the people who've been in orbit and taken photos of the earth. Maybe he says it's a huge conspiracy.  Iskandar |

Those photos from orbit are not photos - according to the NASA website. They are pictures or CGI's - computer generated images. They supposedly create the pictures from downloaded info that they get from the 'ribbon' technology. "I have been a pilot since 2008 and I can say that the freezing point is NOT the reason behind them not flying over Antarctica. It's the same reason many "direct" flights in other parts of our world are never made.....because the maps we all have been forced to read are false. It is the same reason a bore-sight laser can travel miles across the open water with no curvature dip. Technology has caught up to us, as more people get to use private weather balloons more people will see the truth. The world is not the same map that you have been shown in school." |

End of story.Now....not so sure. Over the years, I've read lots of posts from mac33; many of them are full of conspiracy theories. I'm not sure what the fascination is but quite frankly I don't understand how the moderators let this stuff get posted. Ultimately these posts are pushing a political agenda - basically "'they' are lying to us". I know it's not party political but it is politics nonetheless. Isn't this outside the forum rules? |

Sometimes, you can simply be flat-out wrong and believe things which are in direct opposition to mountains of evidence. This is your right, but you can't expect to push a flat-earth agenda and be taken seriously about science or rational thinking from then on. It's very similar to young-earth, chemtrails and denial of evolution. There tends to be an agenda driving it, because without the agenda why reject overwhelming evidence? Just for kicks? |

There have been many, many actual film cameras taken up into orbit, and people have been going into orbit way before digital imaging ever got started. And what is the supposed reason that every scientist and every country (enemy or not) has come together on this one subject to perpetuate the "myth" that the earth is round? China, Russia, and the USA have all have manned space programs and stations. With astronauts in outer space to literally look at both the earth or moon from space. Many other countries have space programs that rely on the physics of a round earth (Japan, western Europe, etc.). With probes, satellites , and robots. These countries cannot agree on anything, but yet somehow they managed to come together and agree to conspire on this one thing? The cooperation to conspire is even more improbable than conspiracy itself. |
