Hi All,

Let's get to know each other better. I'm posting this in the General TT section because not so many will read it if it goes in the General section at the bottom. What General section do I hear you say, you little non-scroller you? Exactly my point!! Now if Mr. Haggisv chooses to move this down there well at least it will be marked up here too lol.

So when TT is over, besides going home to bed, what else do you do? Feel free to discuss work (but only exciting stuff), other sports, hobbies, pastimes, what you think about (no sexual fantasies lol), or anything else that occupies your time.

Hookshot, we have a limitation in here that you can't discuss ballroom dancing, bike riding, rock-climbing, gold panning, rifle-making, TT blade making or womanising. That ok with you?  (Just kidding).

I'll start off...I read the OOAK forum... finished

Oh ok, so I also eat (now there's a good topic Yuz :D) sometimes, go for a walk now and then, spend time playing with my 2 year old daughter, stretch my recovering achilles, play the odd game of pool, attend a parenting course once a week so I can be the best Dad I can be, go out with my new GF sometimes - actually we saw a really funny play last week (no bedtime stories here though ), and I'm sure there's other stuff that will come to me in later posts lol.

So let's hear stuff about YOU! :D

Today, I packed up a blade to send to a friend, worked on a painting, worked on the matting for another one, packed a painting to send out, started another prototype blade using epoxy instead of the usual glue, finished all my paperwork for my visa to send in tomorrow and tried a new Chinese recipe. Tonight, I will work on my Chinese language which is the hardest thing I have tried in a long time.
Get to hit in the morning! :D

Oh, you mean aside from redoing my bats all over again (my signature always changes M-W-F?) each time I try to tweak something?

Or perhaps doing a late-night TT video editing session so that I'll be able to upload it while sleeping?

Or making yet another custom sheet of whatever-new-pimples out rubber I'm interested in?

Seems like it's always related to TT.

---

That aside, I usually assist in product demos, check quotations, fix computers and other medical equipment.

I do try to study some finance and accounting as it's important for business. Seems like I've wasted a couple of years in college studying computer engineering, but the background helps in understanding things in an objective way. ;)

Feel free in talking about many things (not everything, hehe!) as I believe studying does not end in the classroom. :)

Well apart from my obsession with TT, I do have other interests. In the summertime (off season) I like to mountain bike in the local forests as it's a great way to unwind after a day at work. Getting out in the countryside, listening to the birds singing, without a soul in site is very relaxing!

My other main interest is performance driving. I love cars and have completed a number of advanced driving awards. I also attend a lot of track days, driving training car control days, etc. I'm quite obsessive with my car detailing as well and love to try out new products on my car. Believe it or not, there is a massive car detailing scene and forums dedicated to this. Others see it as washing cars, but there is an art to it. I'm probably not selling this very well ...ok the performance driving is more interesting!

I recently bought a new car this year and end up spending more on it than I should, but when I'm not buying stuff for it, I'm generally buying TT equipment

This year I've also been planning my wedding with my fiancé for next year. We get married next August and there is a lot to arrange! Thankfully most of it is booked now!

Apart from that, I have two mad little kittens. We have a lot of fun playing with them and generally sitting with them relaxing. My fiancé is a primary school teacher and works long hours, so sometimes it's nice just to get back in the evening and relax with our little ones.

That's about it really :)

Hi Chris,
I consider my hunting rig "detailed" properly when it is covered in mud. That tells me I have been to a good place. :D

Compared to you guys, I have a boring life.

Started by visiting OOAK, then gardening, playing tt if asked, lunch, afternoon sleep, ballroom dancing practice, prepare dinner, watch TV, visit OOAK again, check email, sleep. But, what a life indeed.

Besides table tennis and work, and spending time with my partner.
I really love to eat :D I am not a fussy eater and I like to go out of my way to try out new foods and new places to eat.... hehe
I would love to go to "connie Island" and try to enter that hotdog eating contest they do every year :D
I am starting to play tennis, I got a really good trade with a friend for a tennis racket, for 3 table tennis rackets.

Monkey, you know that there is an inherit conflict playing tennis while also playing table tennis, right?
When I first came to USA in 1970, one of my friends introduce me to tennis, I almost broke my wrist, using table tennis strokes. Didn't pick up tennis again until my son started to learn tennis, not playing tennis, but to serve and feed balls to him only.
Since he was a sponsored tennis player in Junior years, he got 8 new rackets every year until he got in college. I still have 20 and more tennis rackets in my home I don't know what to do with. Want to trade tennis racquets with rubbers?

You actually wash your car?
If you wash your hunting rig around here, people look at you funny.

My day today:

I got a call at work from TNT telling me i'd received my Galaxy blades from china. Yay, right? No! Customs and tax handling was screwed, so i won't have the stuff for tomorrows practice. After this failure, straight to coach the kids at my club. They were a pain in the ass today :P

After that, meeting at the club on the youth council about upcoming tournaments. Also touched on restructuring practice for ourselves. People are fired up this season, good sign. 2 matches were going on during the meeting and ended not long after, giving the meeting attendees some time to have a hit with some new equipment. I'm enjoying Boost TC on my TBS right now, and can't wait to explore it further.

Where's your Club zrrbiteDK?

What blades did you buy?

Slippery, just a tip. If you feel the urge to do something and you don't feel like talking to your woman...go have a hit of golf!!

Oh that's something else about me...I like golf. Haven't played in quite some time....can't recall why not for the life of me

Monkey, I also like tennis, but its been a lot longer since my last game of that than golf!!

Silver, if you buy me a ticket I'm more likely to win than if you buy yourself one...something about selfless acts...and then I will work really hard investing it so that I can help you to retire...how's that sound?

Tat, I think you have what silver wants lol

No, I think you'd be more likely to win because you'd have a ticket and I wouldn't.
