Are there any good videos of PRO and high level LP attackers? I'm not too familiar with any players that attack with their pips, as Modern Defense and push blocking dominate the forum.

I'm finding that, as a classic defender the one time I tend to attack is with my pips....it's proved fruitful and I want to explore the techniques more.

So please, if you have or know of any youtube vids of LP attackers, please post them here.

Wales has a young female player who uses Feint Long II on her backhand and attacks with it quite well.

I don't know if this is the kind of technique you're looking to replicate though as she takes the ball of the bounce and essentially just hard-pushes.

Worth a watch regardless :)

Dunc! She's amazing! She has a Deng Yaping thing going on there with her attack. her backhand punch vs. Topspin is incredible! Look at the finishing shot at 1:07 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHIIFFfjBPc

That's exactly what I want to do. THANKS!!!!

Plus...she's kinda cute. ;)

This is fantastic...I've seen him play for someone before....Sauer and Troger perhaps? Very good.

Feint Long II? sponge 1.1 or 1.3? maybe OX :P
anyway some pips with thick sponge behave almost like a inverted... eg. feint long III 1.3mm

Please do...if it's not too much trouble.

Questions:
What blade?
Does she use sponge? What size?
What made her adopt an attack style as opposed to defense?
Also, does she have a boyfriend?
Would she mind dating a married man?

Hi Guys,

I play in a very similar manner to Megan when I am at my best although I am not half as good. The trick is to have a good forehand to take advantage of the mayhem you cause when fast pushing and blocking. Very entertaining.

Megan is playing in the Worlds.

She lost to a Chinese player whom I don't recognise (MU Zi) in straight sets, but it's still worth a watch:

Some awesome pushes, sideswipes, attacks and even a chop block :)

Mu Zi is one of the best young chinese ladies. But I think she has no world ranking. I feel sorry for those who got her in their group, she is likely in the top 10 or 20 in the world.
