Suggestions for LP hitting particularly high balls which would normally be smashable with inverted. Is a consistent backhand LP smash possible?

Smash? Probably not. Well its possible I guess, but very hard to be consistent. I find a hard roll that kind of carries the ball downward and always (for me) across court with this one. Its rarely a clean winner, but it can carry awkward spin that often results in a foul by the opponent.

I think I may have mentioned it last time I replied to one of your posts... maybe not.
But watch Coach McAfee's long pip drill on Youtube.
Invaluable to someone learning to play with LP.
Take note of Drill #12

This should be a link to the play list.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axIM05J ... E0A0BA637A

Coach McAfee shows various strokes and as simple as it is he shows very simply how to use LP strokes.
Watch the "opponent" to see what he is doing and watch what Coach counters with.

When I was starting LP I read his posts on the CC thread and watched these vids and was inspired.

I don't think I have seen these but they are great. I do a lot of these technique while practicing them but harder to get it done in random situations. Thanks again for all the tips they give me confidence in general. Feel like I'm starting from square 1 after switching to pips.
