I believe you're mistaken Shoebox9. See my photos here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13995&hilit=sharad+pandit&start=15#p251336 But don't worry, "I'll check next time I see him." -haggisv 07JUL13. |

Interestingly, I've now lucked out with coaches! The two people I work with regularly - Adam Proszko and Rowden Fullen - are both pips experts. They don't take students on very often, and have quite a waiting list, but if you're based in the south of England (Rowden is in Bournemouth, and Adam is in Portsmouth), they could be worth a look. |

I read his book back when I was in high school in the late 70s! He played with short pips both sides, but I don't recall the book mentioning it specifically. What was different about the book was he had a long section on how to prepare for competitive play and how to improve fitness. There was a photo of his bat - he used "Butterfly C4" - must've been the original Butterfly pips out, after that Butterfly used the "C4" designation for all pips-out and "D13" for all inverted rubber sheets it sold. Makes you wonder if there ever was a "C3" or "D12" - or a "A1" for that matter! Iskandar |
