As some of you know, Sweden's Mattias Karlsson uses some Yasaka SP on FH and he is climbing the world ranking rather quickly for the moment. But there is also a very good younger Swedish boy, Jonathan Thimon, born 2001, who actually uses SP on both sides (if I have understood this correctly). A year ago he probably (source was not 100 % sure) used Haifu Dolphin on FH and Penguin on BH. This might have changed. Anyway, this young player is very fun to watch and he is making some noice in Wurope fo the moment, making it to the final unseeded in 2016 Czech Junior & Cadet http://www.ittf.com/competitions/competitions2.asp?Competition_ID=2618&category=wjc)%20Open.

Here are some long chunks of film from that competition. You can see Jonathan play in round of 16 here: http://youtu.be/SDx1YcV4HDE?t=7473 (at around 2 hrs, 04 minutes). And the final is at around 9 hrs, 05 minutes, here: http://youtu.be/SDx1YcV4HDE?t=32740

He also made it to final in doubles with a partner born 2003 (the one coaching him in the final). That clip should be somewhere in the chunk also. And there might be more recorded matches with him from team events from the other days.

That's what I figured. He looked more Swedish lol. Reminded me of a young Fabian Akerstrom :)

Here he is almost 3 years ago, much smaller. And againt a LP ox player from my home town, born 1998, who today is ranked #125 in Sweden. Jonathan, born 2001, is ranked #127 :)
