Welcome to the Pen Hold Long Pips Blockers section. I trust you find this as a place for pen hold long pips blockers to share their passion, discuss equipment, offer guidance and, hopefully, pick up a useful tip or two in the process.

If you have videos of long pips blockers available for viewing, please include them along with any appropriate commentary.

Here is a video of the style by Hiromas Takemura

Have gone from 837 to DtecS and now using Talon, all in OX. Best all-round blocking has been with the Talon. It is a great blend of passive block and aggressive attack against back and top spin. It has not proved to be as 'funky' as the Tibhar, but other than that it is great.

I played against Takemura and I lost 0-3 even though in the 3rd game I figured out on how to play him.. He was leading by about 7 points and I came back to 8:9 in the 3rd game.. Too late.. If I was pushing and blocking against him, I would make more mistakes than he would but when I switched to chopping away from the table, returning the ball high to him, it looked better for me..
Takemura plays TSP CURL P3 alpha R
