Hi guys,

I really need help returning a side spin serve, it just seems to go off the table and can never tell what side of the bat to hit it on.

Any help, website and videos that you recommend would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Mikey

The Basics would be that you Aim the Bat to where the Bat came in

This is good if you are going to push the ball back, but there are a few proviso's I would make. One could loop a deep chop side serve effectively if using inverted or sticky short pips like Stiga Radical, Friendship 802, or TSP Spinpips. If one was using medium pips like Friendship 563 you could probably flat hit through it especially if its chop side. I would only push this serve back if using Anti or Long pips. I guess it also comes down to what style of player you are.
