Im quite new to LP, and I am a bit unsure about how to return long fast nospin or sidespin serves.
This is usually the biggest problem for LP players.
Does you have any other guidelines for usíng lp.

A good way is to attack these kind of serve. For attacking the top of the blade shows to 6 a clock. Then I hit the ball and move the hand fast at 12 a clock and the arm makes no move. With these style I can attack the serve hard and fast, ore soft.
The second way is to go a step back an return the serve with a slice with much backspin.
The 3 way – a short drop / block

Uli are you saying you hit with a very wristy topspin on the first method? Am I interpreting that correctly? Its probably a good suggestion but I think that Speedplays difficulty is how wide (and fast) the serve is, is that right Slippery? And with your reach Slippery if you have trouble, the rest of us would be left gorking! I am wondering rather than moving back is it possible to be very close to the table and reach it on the half bounce? Then a topspin put away may be possible down the line or across court depending on where he moves to from his start position. Tell me if I have this all ass about as I have only assumed he is serving wide FH to wide FH as you didn't actually say.

Yes i return with a friction long pip with sponge long serves verry offten with these wristy topsin and i make lot of points with these top! I think i can play 60% from the table these Return. On the table i dont get enoth spin to the Ball and the first Topspin will be to fast to return. If i go a step back i can give the ball more spin. I mean the important think is to cange very often the Spin and Speed - also i cange verry offten the return

Cheers Uli

At the last test these TS was verry well with the Kokutaku 911 with 0,6mm sponge and my owne Blade Safety Def+

Now with the Fakir these TS is not so good and i prefer to attack the 3 Ball!
