Oh, another thing I sometimes do is look at one corner of the table right before I serve, then serve to the other corner.

Don't know if it does anything.

OK, here is one,,,got lots more.

Backhand, double bounce short topspin that looks like heavy chop.

Remember, I am left handed, you have to reverse the directions if righty.

I start with the bat up by my right shoulder. I come down like a chop hard. I exagerate the chop motion with body language.
Just before contact, I reverse the direction of the bat and come up, only a couple inches. Ball contact is made in those two inches. I actually lift the bat using my shoulder and kind of just freeze my arm. It is only a bump of the ball but does give topspin.
Most will push it and it will pop almost straight up.

Before you tell me it wont work at higher levels, I could fool my Provincial champion coach with it.
