There are many thousands of posts at Mytabletennis.net about paraffin oil boosting of inverted rubbers, presumably "illegal"? There also such posts in this forum. So why are they "condoned" by you and others opposed to PB talking about pips treatment? Double standard anyone?

So why do people want to talk about it online? Because no matter what, some players do not wish to follow ITTF rules to the letter, and even Adham says he doesn't care as long as you don't use such equipments at his events.

As to "intent" of using VOC glue simply to attach rubbers, it's still breaking the law, no matter how you cut it. The court of law does not allow "intent" to decide guilt once a law is broken. Effect is irrelevant. If you knowingly use glue that contains VOC you ARE breaking the law.

Well, let's start by answering the first diversionary post, and I suspected an early reply from you RR. You say above that I have condoned boosting. When? I do not condone boosting in any competition and have never said I do. Please don't say that I have, I would appreciate you either pointing me to a post in which I have (in which case I will apologise) otherwise I would appreciate your apology.

As for MyTT, I do not frequent that forum (too many posts to keep up with) so I can't comment. But two wrongs don't make a right.

I'll beg to differ on the letter v spirit argument.

Somebody must have missed my post about rubber cement and Tenergy. Rubber cement IS speedglue. I wrote about what happened when I put new Tenergy on with 3 heavy layers of rubber cement. It was as good or better than anything back in the speed glue days for about 3 days. And using 3 heavy layers was how I normally did it back then. (Now I use Tear Mender) haggisv was even interested. So use of rubber cement has nothing to do with intent. It is illegal.

If I had made a post about this recently, it would have started a war. This forum has lost control because a few people have decided to push thier points to the max by any means possible. And the main actors are mods. A few people can not accept the results of the pole and never will. They will continue wageing war.

PB should be able to post vids without being accused of cheating. PB did not start the problem. We can all guess if he is treating or not. If his posts about treating had been put in the Experimental section, there should not have been any problem. The mods "could have" gently steared the posts there. Instead, they chose to use it for a platform for thier own purposes.

Haggisv has asked for solutions, not a continuation of fights.

Why do you consider my post diversionary when yours is discriminatory? You only want to have your voice heard on your stance on LP treatments but not boosting, the same with the few very vocal anti-Experimental section members here. Your constant silence on illegal boosting issues in the past shows your bias.

Sorry guys but I'm going to close this thread... I don't like the way it's going, and it not only dividing the forum but I think it's distracting us from the rest of the forum. I think the outcome of the vote is not not going to change much, and the outcome pretty clear.
