Details of the OOAK Awards 2010 can be read here

Calling for nominations for:
6. Greatest new table tennis inverted rubber for the year 2010
- The greatest new inverted rubber that was introduced or become famous in 2010

Please post your nominations here.

How is this run?
We will have a number of categories for the awards. For each category we will start a new thread asking for nominations for one week. At the end of the week, we will start a poll where members vote for their top 3 choices. Polls are closed after a week, and the winner is announced.

What's the award for the winners?
I will (any help would be much appreciated!) create an "OOAK Hall of Fame" page, where winners and the runner-up will be listed. Every year the new winners will be added.

Nominations so far:
Palio Thor's
Palio Blitz
Tenergy 05 FX
Xiom Omega IV
Xiom Vega Pro
Xiom Vega Elite
Stiga Calibra LT
Galaxy Sun
Gambler Outlaw
729 Focus III Snipe

I haven't used it, but I think the Palio Thor's definitely deserves a nomination, from all the rave reviews!

Yes I agree. I can't quite remember when Tenergy 05 came out, but I would guess it became famous during 2010, or was this during 2009?

Tenergy is definitely the game-changing inverted rubber, but it came out in 2008. Maybe Tenergy 05 FX?

I'll cop that one on the chin :headbang: as I don't really have any other choice. It did come out in 2009 though ;)

It is not an exciting rubber at all, but the 729 Focus III snipe is a great rubber for RPB. Good control, linear, enough power to get the job done, inexpensive.
