Thanks for all the nominations guys!

There's no need to nominate a manufacturer more than once though, as I can only add them to the list once. Once the voting starts you can have your say and show your support. ;)

Hi haggisv,
I'm wondering when we'll get to vote? :n:

I'm also wondering whether you've decided to split this into two categories? My suggestion would be Manufacturer of the Year and Custom Blade Maker of the Year.

OK, votes are now open (finally!   ). You can vote for up to 2 nominees.

As suggested by several other members, I've split up this poll into Manufacturer of the Year and Custom Blade Maker of the Year

I found the place to vote, just after writing my question, excuse, please, old person moment.
72 on the 21st, hardly seems possible. When I was in my twenties I was pretty sure people in their seventies were either dead or very close, at least the ones I knew.:)

LOL, no probs... I've only just worked out what "CBMoftheY" meant, so you're in good company!

Any more votes anyone?

I'm not entirely convinced that you're entitled to exclusive claims re being old. At our practice sessions I regularly play against a guy who's just turned 86. He hits the ball like fury and his reflexes are still very sharp. His biggest problem is a dodgy knee - he hobbles around the court but when he gets to the ball he smashes it past you. I think the most outrageous sight is watching him park in the disabled car parking, then get out and go play TT.

I think that is wonderful. No one would ever accuse me of hitting the ball like fury, sadly. I am more often likened to the proverbial tree sloth.
