Always willing to contribute, and sharing a piece of himself. That was our cyber1call.
For those of you who knew him as Steve: I can only imagine the emptiness. I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you, friend, and farewell!

Cyber1call's post were almost always positive, astute and valuable in one way or another. Whether he was seeking information, contributing information or just adding to the conversation. He was one of the guys who you felt you'd made a bond or connection with here on the forum. His later life rise in interest in TT was inspiring. I found his stories of his TT-enabled weight loss and coaching to improve in the game at his age very admirable. He was quite obviously a clever man who had made quite an experience of life through business and other sports (skeet shooting is one I recall he spoke of). It is sad that his TT journey has been cut short as I'm sure there was more he still wanted to do. I think he was expecting to be wheelchair bound soon and was looking forward to that challenge - I'm sure he'd have become a wheelchair EJ too  I'm just sorry he didn't get to follow that challenge and still be with us to tell us about it. If he could be as large as life on the forum, I'm sure he was larger than life with his family and will be sadly missed by them. So my heart and condolences go out to them. We will miss you Steve, may you Rest in Peace.

A sad loss, always a positive contributor and a positive outlook.I too loved the avatar. He obviously had a lot of health issues to deal with but never dwelt on them, chosing to take the positive route instead. Goodbye Steve, rest well.

It's strange how we find a connection and build a community here. Steve was always someone who helped maintain those connections and he was rarely shy of being a major part of this community. He was one of the smart ones, you know, who always considered his thoughts before he posted. And he usually had plenty to say in that smart, considered way of his. He will surely be missed.

Return to the Mother, Steve. Rest in peace.

I remember cybercall posting about going to be a wheelchair player. It is sad that I did not realize that he was even sicker than I realized. I know his loss to his family is great, but his loss to OOAK forums and his club mates brings a sadness to my heart.

As I often say "you never know".

I've read what you wrote on the memorial page Haggisv and I think its perfect as it is. I think it would also be nice if you could post something on the Charlotte TTC facebook page from the forum sending our condolences to his club. I think given the connection with MNNB's blog and all, it would be appreciated by them. What do you think?

seeing all stories told by his close friends make me touched and drop tears while reading stories of his struggle with his illness, yet he still got the strongest will I've ever known to continue living to his fullest.

my deepest condolences for mr. Willis's family...

Hope his deeds will inspire us to be a better person whatever happens...

Have a nice trip back home mr. Willis...

I've passed the information about this thread and the Memorial Page to his family and the Charlotte TT club (his club) Facebook page.
