https://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/DHS ... 8588.html# DHS Hurricane King --- probably a fake / clone of DHS King + fake Butterfly rubbers from China Should be less than 20 USD ! Really cheap ! Edit: Regarding what an ORIGINAL Tenergy rubber is supposed to look like, check out haggisv review of Tenergy 80 with close ups of Tenergy 05 rubber sheet as well viewtopic.php?t=21464#p233913 |

Agree, it is DHS Hurricane King. A good blade, and the DHS Hurricane rubber seems to be a good one (blue sponge). How can you tell it is a fake one? It seems genuine! |

I'm quite certain that the Tenergy is fake. There should be no extra space below the line with the 05 in it. That makes the Hurricane III dubious, at least. I wonder if they behave similar to the 729 OEM rubber. |

The fake Tenergy 05 I got (I paid $7 for it) was absolutely useless as table tennis rubber - hardly any friction, and not slow enough to be anti. Quite a pity, I was hoping for at least something like 729. I suspect a lot of the fake H3 out there is similar. If the rubber is fake, the blade's also fake. Where did this come from? Iskandar |

My tenergy 05 rubber is 100% original as I've also got invoice which was from amazon. it is the latest rubber of the new series of butterfly tenergy 05 rubbers I've assembled thus raquet on mu own by buying all the parts of the bat from a officially registered table tennis store |

Red says he's certain it's fake.. Did it have a thin sheet of plastic on its surface that you had to peel off? And what did it cost? Iskandar |

Nope before assembling the bat there was one but after I gave parts to assembler then he peeled off the plastic sheet from both the rubber |

So, there was a foil that has to be peeled off the rubber. 2nd clue that makes it a fake. 3rd one is: Amazon is just a platform, Butterfly sells their products through their own channels, more or less like Apple does. Want to check for your own? http://en.butterflymag.com/2014/11/counterfeit-butterfly-products-a-guide/ |
