Post subject:  Approved TT balls update - 20th Jun 2016

The ITTF list of approved balls has just been updated, you can see the list here: http://www.ittf.com/stories/Pictures/Balls_10_2016.pdf

Added:
Donic P40+*** (Plastic with seam) White
Double Fish V40+*** (Plastic with seam) White
Tmount Prime 40+*** (Plastic with seam) White

Removed:
729*** (Celluloid) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) White
adidas 40+*** (Plastic with seam) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) White
adidas*** (Celluloid) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) White
adidas*** (Celluloid) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) Orange
Gambler 40+*** (plastic with seam) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) White
Stag*** (Celluloid) (can only be used until 30 June 2016) White

Unfortunately still no orange plastic balls! ;(

Yeah I know. I have asked Torsten in his thread but he has no information. If you are a distributor for some brands that sell poly balls, can you not ask "up the line"?

Good idea, I'll do that :up:

I suspect most of them won't actually know, as they don't have their own factory, and just wait till one of the major TT ball factories starts making them, so that they can get theirs with their own logo.

Even so, they may have some whisper of when their supplier even further "up the line" may be working towards an orange poly ball, unless its "commercial in confidence". Planning & marketing, I am sure some TT brands have heard of it. :)
