This is the latest approved balls by ITTF. Orange V40+ not yet listed there.
Ball Manufacturers are stricktly prohibited to market their products "beforehand", prior to ITTF Approval.
DF may incur ITTF penalty sanctions for marketing the non-approved orange balls. Sorry.
A lot of us here not participating in ITTF events so no need for ITTF approved items. A lot of us older people and/or with eyesight challenges are waiting for good yellow balls to use. As long as it's good, we don't care about ITTF approval on them.
As far as selling them before getting ITTF approval, I don't know about their agreements and what is covered or not covered. Whether they can't sell it at all prior the approval, or can't sell to certain areas, or whatever.
As far as I know, ITTF approval covers things allowed to be used in ITTF events, not covering about sale of things. But I don't know much about those things so I could be wrong.
But, anyway, back to original post, I saw and then bought the said ball back in September/October last year while in China. To proof that those stuff are not just tales.
