try cleaning it with lighter fluid,or next best meths,we use these in the print trade and it works on a variety of substrates

Ouch, sunlight probably killed it...it dries out the rubber, and I don't know if you can recover it from this. :(

Hopefully the sunlight didn't cause much damage because it wasn't a direct shine of sunlight .

I'll try to clean it with water.

After cleaning it with some water, the dust on the surface goes away but the stain are still there, could it be oil stains?

But I found out that when I was cleaning the rubber with water, I clean the part where the dhs logo and the rubber's name and the rubber on that part also turned blurry for some reason.

I mean it isn't shiny like it used to be, and can I test or how do I know if I "killed"my rubber.

Buy a bottle of Nail Polish Remover, and flood the rubber surface with it while holding the paddle in the air horizontally. Take a dull smooth no-sharp edges soft straight piece of non-absorbent material and gently rub the acetone over the stain and rest of the rubber. Clean all the liquid off before it completely dries or add some more and continue cleaning the rubber surface. Repeat for 5 - 10 mins with about 50ml and no more than that amount.

If the stain goes off then rubber should be looking brand-new now. Put it in a protective sheet and let it continue to dry for a day ( DONT PUT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR HOT PLACE !) in a cool-dry place like a cupboard or somewhere with moth-balls or anything that can suck moisture from the air.

I'll be sure to try that method with nail polish remover, it won't damage the rubber right? It won't affect the tackiness right?

What's kind of material is that with so much criteria ? Examples ??

Personally I think flooding it with acetone is way too risky. It will expand the topsheet and you'll risk dislodging it from the sponge (acetone can dissolve the glue bond between topsheet and sponge), resulting in bubbles.

If's there no more safer ways to clean it, I think I'll just live with it.

I hope it doesn't affect the rubber much.
