There are so many questions that I would not be able to answer. If it is an exam, I am sure that I will fail.

Okay, I added those categories. Aeoliah, don't worry. You only have to nominate and vote in the categories for which you feel comfortable doing so. For instance, I won't be voting for any of the offense-based shakehand categories.

Hmmm... interesting idea...

how abt a 'Good Matchup' category ? refers to rubber/blade match

equipments can be best rated by themselves but could be bad matches wz other equipments?

it is possible tat the list could be a bit long for this category. if that is the case,
its better to have a 'Bad Matchup' catergory instead so the list is shorter & easier to avoid

I think the Highest Control categories is a bit of a gimmick. It depends too much on your style. Some people find hard blades easier to control.

Most Durable rubber is similar. As is most durable blades. depends on how rough you are with your equipment, how much glue you slather onto your rubbers, how often you smack the table, etc.

Rubber:

Best Looping Rubber (low-tack or non-tacky)
Butterfly Cermet (non-tack)
Stiga Magna (low tack)

Highest Control (inverted)
Joola Samba (Soft and slow!)

Fastest Rubber (all types)
Stiga Almana

Fastest Rubber (tacky-surfaced)
Stiga Magna (barely tacky)

Spinniest Rubber (mechanical spin)
Banda Sigma

Best Speed to Control Rating (top quartile of speed)
Butterfly Cermet

Best Speed to Control Rating (bottom quartile of speed)
Butterfly Sriver FX

Blades:
Fastest Blade
Schlager Carbon

Slowest Blade
Toxic 3

Best Looping Blade (shakehand)
Timo Boll Spirit
Hurricane WL

Best Hitting Blade (shakehand)
Joola Kool

Best Looping Blade (Cpen)
TBS Cpen :P
Waldner Senso Carbon or Hurricane Hao

Best Jpen (alternative types)
Nittaku AP

Best Low Cost Blade (shakehand/Cpen)
Galaxy 961

Best Low Cost Blade (Jpen)
Friendship LKT One

Most Durable Blade
Butterfly Arylate Carbon blades

Other:
Best Shoes
Yonex SHB-99MX
Mizuno Wave Rally

Better but still to long IMO. Plus a lot of the nomination are gone.

Perhaps these should be done one by one, or much smaller groups...don't know

Hm, how about I break it up into different topics, each concerning one thing, so one for looping and speed rubbers, one for chopping and control rubbers, and then one for a few other rubber categories, and then one for offensive blades, one for defensive blades, and one for Jpens and other categories. That way people can just look at the sections that apply to them and don't have to get confused by the huge number of categories.
