Hi everyone,

The rubber mass database is up and running here
http://www.choices-guide.com/silver

What I want from everyone is rubber data for the webpage, so if you would like to contribute, please fill in this little table and you'll see it added to the webpage.

FOR EXAMPLE.
Brand: Butterfly
Rubber ID/Model: 005 Spinart
Thickness (max or in mm): max
Colour: black
Uncut Mass(g): 73.6
Length(mm): 176
Width(mm): 165

Brand:
Rubber ID/Model:
Thickness (max or in mm):
Colour:
Uncut Mass(g):
Length(mm):
Width(mm):

EDIT (admin): Additional and recent values have been added here, please check both: Rubber mass and sheet size

You've still got more of yours to add, don't you Silver? I noticed you only got up to letter 'D' so far.

I will add of of mine over time...

I hope everyone here will also remember to weigh theirs before and enter them in, before you put them on the bat? Cheers!

Joola Energy Green Power 0 max blk 61
Joola Energy Green Power 0 max red 68

the red sheet is heavier?

Not necessarilty, it might just be variation within the batch....that's why it's good to get as many entired as possible, so we get a better idea of this...

Updated with more rubbers.

I have a raw rubber input, so if you have something like

Make
Model
thickness
grams per sq cm

post now!

Wow, that's looking great!!! You've been busy.... (and I've been slack :oops: )

If we can all remember to at least weight some of our rubbers before we glue them on...this will easily be the most comprehensive list on the internet ( if not already)... Good on you Silver!

Hi DT,
I don't know much about web pages...but an interesting function would be a sort column click...
IE click on "uncut mass" for example and the column is sorted from low to high and another click sorts from high to low(just like we can click at the top of our email columns to sort arrival order or sender etc...
If not that's fine...just a thought to enhance the usefulness of the webpage..
Regards,
foss

I've put some provision in for that already - there's a sort by brand, model and grams per sq cm. Sorting by uncut mass isn't that useful, as each rubber sheet has different dimensions.
Putting the link directly into the column header is a bit trickier, as I'm whacking it directly from the SQL table result into html, but I might be able to figure something out.

I should put a license similar to postcardware on it.

You can use it freely with no charges as long as you contribute :P
