Hi all,

bought a sheet of red higher 3 and super primed it with huge dome and then huge reversed dome.
wet s.glued to blade with 2 layers and had a hit.
it was so slow and no grip or throw at all???
thought it must have been wet and not glued on properly... which is strange as i have been speed glueing over 10yrs.
anyway, gave it the benefit of the doubt and peeled it off and reglued... same thing! could not figure out what went wrong?
it was glued to the blade properly and i had a look at the top sheet which seems fine but can not figure out why it does not work?
it was so weird! never had a similar problem with rubbers before?? :?:
i have no idea! anyway, made me wary with most chinese products once again!!!!
i ended up peeling it off and gave it to a mate who uses chinese rubbers... still wondering how he goes with it as he has not played with it.

will go back to LKT XT and also try out the new LKT torrent.

Hmm, maybe it relies on heavy reverse tensioning for everything and priming the crap out of it basically killed all of that tension. I dunno.

Over priming or glue still wet is all i can think of... I've tried a few of these sheets (but not super primed) and they glue up beautifully... :?:

JKC says that this rubber is very good glued up as long as it all holds together.

I find it really odd that it happened. The Higher III is one of the highest ranked chinese rubbers in my book. I glued the bejesus out of mine and the end result was a monster that was even dare I say faster than a sriver.

Yes he does.
Can't understand it at all. I know that HigherIII and FasterIII are some of the slowest rubbers straight out of the pack, but after a few layers of glue and a bit of stretch, they are nice quick spinny rubbers.

i have no idea still!
i must have had about 10 layers of stiga energy glue on it and it has been glass plated twice.
huge dome and sponge and rubber is very flexible but when i played, it was like trying to loop with frictionless LP
