I've just received a catalogue from Armstrong. They have a lot of rubbers with very weird name, about half of them are pips. Unfortunately it's all in Japanese, so I can't understand most of it.
If anyone is interested I can scan it in and post the PDF?

Checking out their catalogue, their rubbers have very confusing names and each rubber seems to have several different options, not only in sponge hardness but some in pip shape or size!
Their blades are unusual too, in that none of them seem to have any writing on the blade face, and I can't even see the name of the blade on any of them :o
For those reasons I'm not surprised that not many dealers carry them, even though I have no doubt their products are of high quality.
Ok guys I'll scan one in and post it.

More Armstrong blade and rubber information can be found by reading through the English pages at the Iruiru website.

I have several older Armstrong blades including an unusual angled handle Jpen hinloki 1 ply
(handle is angled so that for a righthander the blade will point slightly more down toward the floor on a forehand)
and also a penhold with Ebony as the middle ply and soft
Pauwlonia outer plies.

Their blades seem carefully made and the rubber seemed to be very similar to
other Japanese brands.

Armstrong table tennis used to claim to have invented rubber sponge.
