Wow. Imagine how many rubbers a minimum wage Chinese worker could cut for the price of that machine. My guess is: more than the machine could without breaking down. And that's the only legitimate use I can imagine for it (industrial use). If they're trying to market it to westerners I think they've overestimated our laziness, which is not easy...

I agree. It actually seems that given some practice (and a strong glue, perhaps) you can cut a rubber faster than with knife/scissors.

That larger machine just looks intimidating. I can't imagine how it could make the job easier.
Still, I agree with haggisv. A translation would be interesting...
Nobody willing to contribute on that side?

if you can get the bigger version of the picture i might be able to help. as such it's too small to read...

i think such a tool would be good for shops who offer cutting and gluing of rubbers upon purchasing. it would cut down on collateral damage if anything should go wrong with manual cutting. it would be nicely cut every time.

i'm sure some of us already cut tons of rubbers and some of us could get right too a nice shape every time. but we usually do it in our convenient times. in shop/store setting it would be a bit different where sometime the customer want it done quickly and a lot of things going on on the shop at the same it which might lead to a botch cut and lead to a loss of profit if the customer doesn't want a little botch on the expensive rubbers he/she's buying.

the high $$ for the machine would negate all that however. I'm sure were it reasonable cheap, they can sell a lot more.

as such, the cutter like the japanese version would seem a lot more practical to carry around.

Hi,guys,just wondering has any one checked our auto table tennis rubber cutter out yet?My dad is a crasy table tennis lover and he invented this machine.Not overestimated westrerners laziness...but it is really easy and good machine to use.
