Hi !

lixiaoduo, the ebay post is no longer available. Can you give us a hint where we can buy a rubber cutting machine ?
Unfortunately, all the sites are in chinese or japanese and I cannot manage to figure out what they say as google translates extremely funny.

Thanks

Hi,lagardere:

I've just relisted the link on ebay,http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151015750960
sorry I was really busy recently and totally forget about it.It's my dad's invention,I just help him with translation when he needs me to.
The price on ebay is only for the machine with kits,if you could let me know where do you want us to post (city) i can find out the postage for you.We normally use UPS or TNT.
It will be post from China but with a good Power Adapter.

Please few free to ask if you have any questions,or my email is:[email protected].

Cheers,
Ariel

So what DO they cost? (I suppose it would be useful if I were running a table tennis shop..)

Ha!!! Cool idea (starts about 3/4 of the way through the video):

Quite a few choices:

(You probably don't want the pet hair trimmers and the electrician's scissors, but... The Fiskars one in the video should work really well, BUT will probably cost a lot more than USD20..)

Is it really that hard to cut rubbers? I use a scalpel, bought from affordablett. Super sharp. It takes less than 30 seconds to produce a perfect cut with just a few passes. Will cut many many rubbers before it starts getting dull. Then you can sharpen them or replace the head. Easy.

Cutting one rubber is no problem (though there are things that can go wrong that make you gnash your teeth, especially with the newfangled water based cements). Cutting two rubbers is just slightly more difficult. But imagine having to cut ten. Or a couple dozen. If you own a busy table tennis shop, or selling at a tournament, you can find yourself preparing a half dozen bats in an hour. And these bats belong to Other People, and the rubbers have to be cut PERFECT. And then it becomes a major pain in the kiester.
