I use a home-made solution that I found somewhere on the web. In a four-ounce bottle, fill it almost completely with distilled (not tap) water, 3-4 drops of a grease-cutting dish washing liquid, and 3-4 drops of lemon juice. It cleans the rubber as well as anything I've ever used. I've been using this solution for about a year now. I also make sure to cover my rubber with the plastic protection sheets. My tacky rubbers have stayed "like new" tacky to this day.
Have it stajyed "like new" tacky to this Day ? :)

Are you still advice this recipe?

Canka, I am pretty sure Jim would stand by his advice. Sadly, Jim passed away in January this year. I often use the same solution - based on Jim's advice - and my rubbers last ages.
