The prices shown when not logged in do not include taxes. After I made an account and set my country to Holland 20% was added to the price. Still cheaper than most shops but similar to table tennis.inters.pl (however only on busines accounts, then you don't pay added taxes)

Maybe it's also possible to make a business account on tabletennis11, have not checked that yet.

For those of us outside the Euro Union we don't have to pay the VAT. We get it for the low price.

Yes worth checking out, but with a warning that this is not a single shop, but part of the alibaba.com network where there is lots of fake stuff being sold... so buyers beware...

Yeah, its sort of like a Chinese ebay where everything is a "buy it now".

One interesting thing to note, though - eacheng.net, which is the online presence - or, as we shall see - one of several online manifstation of Tianjin Guanghe Sports Ltd., is behind several of what look like different Aliexpress "shops". One of these shops is called, indeed, Tianjin Guanghe, but there are at least two or thee others. Dead giveaways - having them mention eacheng.net as a source for more items. Another is free eacheng rubber protectors (thanks guys...). Sometimes the items from an aliexpress store is a LOT cheaper than on eacheng.net itself. Two sheets of Sanwei training rubber was USD4.75 per sheet, free shipping, on eacheng proper, it was USD9.99 with NO free shipping.

TG also has a presence on alibaba.com - you will find sheets of rubber for USD2-3 each, the drawback is there is a 200 sheet minimum order.

I'm convinced Tianjin (the city) is theAkron of China - a lot of table tennis rubber is made there, and a lot of table tennis companies are based there. I'll bet there's maybe 3 OEMs who make most of it.

As far as counterfeits are concerned - if you identify the parallel eachengs you will be better protected. Also stick to inexpensive stuff - there really isn't much point in counterfeiting a 729 C3 blade or Globe 999 or Reactor Corbor. Stay away from the National Hurricane or the Tenergy 25 - especially if you see the latter for $20.

OK, I've identified these three shops as AliExpress manifestations of eacheng.net. When I order from them, they send at least one free eacheng.net rubber protector. And they tell me to look up eacheng.net for more bargains!

Tianjin Guanghe Sports Equipment (DUH... this is eacheng.net's owner, by the way..) - Shirley W

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/202364

New-new SHOP - nina ali

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/934882

Happy Shopping 365days - XinKai

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/714857

So far, so good. All packages are registered, haven't had one go missing yet, payment is painless, prices are good. It does take a while, maybe 3 weeks. Most items are free shipping.

There's a bunch of stuff on AliExpress for 15% off today (from 25th to 26th March). Check all three of the "shops" listed in the previous post, the three are actually all Eacheng, prices will differ between the three, pick the lowest one. Shipping is free.

I'll probably pick up a sheet of Yasaka ZAP spin, maybe a sheet or two of Haifu Whale and Shark training rubber.

Update: Something like an hour and a half left for the sale as I type this. I was able to save 15% on certain rubber sheets, PLUS there was a $5 off $25 coupon (type in the code "325save5" during checkout) AND a $5 off $50 coupon for the "Happy Shopping 365 days" shop. I ended up buying items from all three Eacheng Avatars, saved $10 + 15% off, maybe $20 total savings on $60-70 worth of stuff. There was also a $20 off $100 coupon ("325save100") which I didn't get to use.

Very interesting discovery. For a very small range of items - namely, Palio-branded Tensor rubber - i.e. Thor's, Blitz, Macro, Macro Era, etc. it's a LOT cheaper for me to get it from these two stores:

http://www.tenryu.com.my/store/?m=cat&c ... =&bt=6&tt=
http://www.presports.com/33_palio?p=2

than from Eacheng's Aliexpress outlets. The Aliexpress outlets don't charge shipping but the prices are $5-15 more. For me there are also small savings from other Palio items, but the Aliexpress outlets have a much larger range of items.

Eacheng itself is even cheaper, but for me the two above stores are local - one will ship (courier, actually) for less than $2 a shipment, the other, I can drive into the parking lot during lunch hour (it's less than a mile from work) and they'll bring it downstairs for me! YMMV - for most of you eacheng.net would be a better deal.

One of Eacheng's three Aliexpress manifestations is having a 24 hour sale, 5% off everything (a little more than 22 hours left as I type this). You also save 5% on shipping because shipping is "free"!

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/202364 "Tianjin Guanghe Sports Eq. Co."

Before you order, though, check the other two "manifestations" for the same item:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/714857 "Happy Shopping 365 Days"
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/934882 "New-new Shop"

Case in point - the Yinhe W6 blade is still cheaper at "Happy Shopping", even with the 5% discount. Good thing too, I just ordered one last week!

I'm going to get some Training Shark - I was about to order some anyway. Only $8.54 a sheet now. And yes, it's cheaper at this manifestation.

Something's happening tomorrow on one of Eacheng's outlets. Go to any item, e.g.:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 95984.html

and there's this blurb: "Add to Cart Now, Buy on 2014-06-03 (GMT -7)"

The last time something like this happened there was a 24 hour sale - everything was 15% off. No idea what happens tomorrow but I'll be sure to check it out!

GMT-7 is something like 13 hours ahead of EST (in the US), pretty close to Aussie time.

Only 5% and they are still more expensive then the other Eacheng shops, what a load of bull. :(

Yeah, I was quite dissapointed. Big build-up, and then only 5% off. Still, there are items that are cheaper than the other Eacheng outlets even before the sale, for instance, Training Whale and Training Shark. (My S.O.P. these days is to do a search on AliExpress.com for the item I'm looking for, and it'll pop up on all three Eachengs, and I can compare the price directly.) If you click the big red banner at the top of the page you'll see that there's some sort of big sporting goods sale going on Aliexpress-wide, but table tennis isn't one of the categories. If you want fishing gear or camping gear, though...

Anyhow, I have strong reason to suspect this is another one of Eacheng's manifestations:

http://stores.ebay.com/Ping-Pong-World

this time on e-bay.

Yes it probably is. It look the same as this bulk store and this one I'm sure is Eacheng. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-Dawei-388D-1 ... 3ce10f41ca

Well, I found some things on the ebay store that were cheaper than AliExpress. The Yinhe 896 blade, for instance - $16+ on the three AliExpress stores, $13.99 on ebay. Tuned Training Whale as well - $12+ on AliExpress, $10 on ebay. In all cases, shipping is "free" (i.e. included in the price). Read the fine print, though. AliExpress has this "you get what is advertised or your money back" guarantee, so they ALWAYS ship by registered mail, with a tracking number. I've never had a pack go missing yet, though it can take a long time. Don't know if they'll do that with ebay - poke around on the site and you'll find they want extra for insurance - and they say if you don't buy insurance, if the package gets lost, it's your own fault. I'll be finding out soon, I'm putting an order in (for the above two items). The post office here is notorious for eating untracked packages so I'll spring for the insurance if the package isn't going to be registered (or pay for registration). And then we'll see which way is cheapest.

OK, the guy I suspect is Eacheng ("china-friend") IS providing tracking numbers with the "free" shipping (no need to pay more for that). Very useful to know. Ordered Friday, it's shipped already (as usual, another 3 weeks or so before it's here).

Now this guy:

http://stores.ebay.com/Super-Table-Tenn ... op=1&_vc=1

Who might he be? Hong Kong, carries a LOT of Haifu Training Whale II. Also has Training ZAP and Training New Era (which I wonder about).

This is the guy I bought the Palio "Generic Dragon" from. He's now got it and other table tennis stuff for 10% off for the next couple days. I think I'll order more Generic Dragon, can't say enough good things about it. It's fantastic, especially after it's been Seamooned.

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/T ... 63269.html

What the heck is "Germany Crack", though??

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 69001.html

I might also go for a pair of sheets of Yinhe Mercury II (despite knowing nothing about it..). You save about $2 per sheet off other AliExpress stores. Oh wait.. forget it. It's even cheaper here ($5.50 a sheet, inc. shipping):

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Guarante ... 32151.html

It does seem to be Yinhe's cheap rubber, the equivalent of 729 Batwings, 868 Pink and 999 1+1. But it gives "Supernormal spin". And MOXA. Naah.. but I'll still go for the Generic Dragon. I really like that stuff.
