Interesting! They list the price of the rubber (i.e. 999, Mercury, etc.) as $2! Shipping must be $3. The packages I received today from Eacheng (actually two separate Eacheng manifestations on AliExpress - the two packages had the SAME return address, the same sender... AND were stapled together!) also listed the "value" of the rubber as $2 (USD in this case). Shipping per sheet was 15 Renminbi (about $2.25).

I'll bet the Aussie store will have it to you a lot quicker, too, especially if you're in Aussie... (China Post takes about 3 weeks, though Eacheng ships the day after you order, which is way better than some other vendors.)

Their description of Mercury II isn't very inspiring - "This rubber is best suited for a beginner player or a socail (sic) player."

Anyhow, I have strong reason to suspect this is another one of Eacheng's manifestations:

Confirmed. "China-friend" is definitely Eacheng. Same shipper, same return address! I suppose, now I have to check FOUR manifestations to find the best price. Plus the Eacheng.net website itself in case a big purchase would cost less if you pay the shipping separately.

Not exactly a "bargain" but I know a lot of people here look for sponge of differing thicknesses and hardness. And I just came across this:

This has GOT to be the record for the most expensive rubber on AliExpress yet:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 80020.html

Also.. I wonder about these, can't find mention of them on the ITTF website:

Weird long pips:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 37819.html

SWISS rubber:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 47470.html

Supposedly Korean:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 73339.html

And this is just plain bizarre. What are they - leftovers from Yinhe's pre-made bat assembly line?

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product ... 36083.html

All this comes from one store. Where do they get all this stuff?\

One of Eacheng's avatars is running a 20% sale on a bunch of items (but not everything in the shop). Plenty of time, this one - 7 days left on the sale. A lot of Palio rubbers (including Macro, and some CJ8000s), some RITC rubbers, a Darker Vlon or two, a few blades...

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/sale-items/202364.html

ANOTHER avatar (Happy Shopping 365 days) is offering $2 coupons - unlike most coupons, this one works on anything that costs more than the coupon itself! Quite significant if you're buying a $10 sheet of rubber. Want to try that new 729 with the large pores? Now you can get it for $8.39!

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/714857

And the third avatar (New-new shop) is having a 5% off sale on everything in the store (good for the next 14 hours...).

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/934882

To get the lowest price, do a search for the item that strikes your fancy, if you did it properly prices from all three avatars (and more) will pop up. Factor in the coupon and choose the best one! It's all going to come from the same place (if you use the Eacheng avatars). You might even order two items from two different avatars and see if they ship them together (they did with one of my orders - at least, the two packages were rubberbanded together).

Oh gee.. On top of the 20% off they've got $2 coupons now at the Tianjin Guanghe (Eacheng) store. Coupons are good for $2.01 and above.

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/sale-items/202364.html

Just picked up a sheet of Drunken Dragon Upgrade (?) for $8.18, including shipping (normally $12.72). Three days left on the 20% off, don't know how long the coupons will last.

Ordered a sheet of Dawei 388D-1 which I am keen to try. With coupon paid little over $7 with free shipping. Real bargain  Thanks Iskandar

Another sale. "Happy Shopping 365 Days" (Eacheng), 15% off sale items:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/sale-items/714857.html

This one's heavy on Sword rubber and HRT blades. If you ever wanted one of those Rosewood or Ebony (or Crystal Carbon) Stiga clones, now's the chance. But they don't have the 2091 Clipper clone on sale, darn it. A few Reach and XiEnTing blades, too.

Lots of weird Sword stuff I wan't aware of before. There's a 2000F series of rubber, some is specific "for wood-blades", others are "for fiber-blades"). There's some Reach stuff as well (including the Baochong "no ITTF" rubber). And "Hydrophilic Mucosa".

Well!! Looks like all three Eachengs are having sales right now.

Tianjin Guanghe: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/sale-items/202364.html

See my previous note. This sale's expired, and been renewed, at least twice. Same items I mentioned above, 20% off. OOH!! Just noticed.. The $2 coupon is back!!!!

New-new Shop: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/B ... 14751.html

16% off a lot of DHS stuff, but also Sanwei and Yinhe blades. Some Yinhe rubber, as well as other stuff. Don't click on "Sale Items" at the top of the page. They're also running a 5% off everything in the store, and you'll see EVERYTHING in the store listed under that. The 5% sale seems to rotate among the three stores, but it isn't a guarantee that the item you want isn't cheaper at one of the other two stores (or elsewhere) even without the sale. If you want something, wait until the store with the cheapest "normal" price gets the rotating 5% sale...

And don't forget to check their ebay store, too, sometimes it's cheaper than AliExpress:

A few good bargains here:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/p ... 244/1.html

In particular - Dawei 388D-1 OX - 2 sheets for $8, including shipping! Just ordered a pair of sheets - this is the first time I've tried this guy, don't know if he's reliable, if the order arrives in good time I'll post here. He mainly sells handbags and wallets and shoes. Aside from the 388D-1, there's a variety of Palio CJ8000 and Yasaka ZAP at good prices. There's also Tenergy and Mark V, I'd stay away from those for now. The cheap stuff should be genuine.

When I saw this the first time I thought it said "Mesuck".

(There's some "new materials" balls from Double Fish at the bottom, too - the 1 stars are 90 cents each. I'm tempted to get some, I play with the Celluloid 1 stars these days.)

$2 coupons are now at New-New Shop, along with some 16% sale items. (This is an Eacheng.)
