Now that I've been testing various kinds of rubber I'm running into a small problem - how to store/set aside usable sheets of rubber. For now, most of these are inverted sheets, most have a layer of glue on the back. For now, I've been putting a layer of plastic (mainly those cellophane sheets that cover the front surface of brand new sheets of rubber) on the face, then slipping them inside the cardboard packets that come with rubber. But I'm wondering if there is a better way. Should I, perhaps, put waxed paper on the sponge side to keep the glue from trying to stick to the cardboard? Also, if I ever get around to trying OX sheets (long pips) - how easy are these to remove from the blade without damaging the rubber, and how does one store these without the glue side sticking to itself? More waxed paper?

Put a similar plastic sheet on the sponge side as well, then store them in a zip lock bag

OX sheets are doable. Again, plastic on the glued side

Yep I agree. I usually use the plastic cover that the rubber comes in, folded at the top.

Some OX sheets are very flimsy, making it hard to remove in one piece... do it very slowly bit by bit. ;)

I also save and use the plastic sheets that the new rubbers come in. Very handy for this purpose
