What is the nicest bat case you've ever seen or owned? If you were to replace your current one, what would you look for?

I rather like the look of the aluminum hard-case ones, with foam inside, but I just spotted this, and think it looks pretty nice:

Nice! That looks like a slight variation on the alu cases... I quite like it!

It isn't expensive or luxurious, but the Tibhar Curve double case is the best one I've owned! Holds 3 bats comfortably, 4 at a pinch, and has a 5-ball compartment.

On the novelty side, I saw this Millennium Falcon pencil case for sale at Office Works (stationery chain store), and it's the right size for a racket cover @ ≤17cm across. The zip would not be able to close all the way because of the bat handle (which would partly protrude), but there wouldn't be any cosmetic handle damage if you used grip tape. I'm not quite enough of a Star Wars fan to want one as table tennis equipment – although I do have a T-shirt with an exploded-view schematic of Han Solo's infamous blaster… :)

Here's something similar:

Comes with a "free" racket. Expensive, though. Really expensive. Is Killerspin stuff any good? For that kind of price it'd better be.

I've got a better case... I was looking for photos of it but it doesn't seem to be available any more, so I'll have to take some photos come Monday. Fits 30 balls! In fact, it CAME WITH 30 free 3 star (celluloid) balls!

Did you mean this 18-ball Joola case? I thought about it when it was cheaper, but wasn't sure about the durability of the clasps or about whether I needed to carry 18 balls to pennant nights!

YES!!! That's the one. Kinda silly, though, isn't it? Who needs to carry around 30 balls? Oh wait.. was it 18 balls - I thought there were 30!

I actually bought two from Amazon (and I was even willing to pay the high shipping prices). I haven't actually started using them yet, maybe I won't. If you think about it, unless you use wide edge tape, your rubber's eventually going to peel off when you remove the bat. This thing's made to carry TWO bats, but I can't see anyone putting more than one in there, unless they were hardbats. There's rubber protector sheets to deal with, too.

You should have seen the review I wrote on Amazon - Something along the lines of "This is the most USELESS racket case I've ever seen, yet it's the COOLEST one as well. Imagine the gasps of admiration (or, to be honest - the hoots of derision) when you pull this out at your club."
