Tibhar make a few glues, some of which seem different from other German brands.

They have
TIBHAR Clue 25g

VS Top Glue

Clean Fix 25g

Has anyone tried any of them?

Nexy HQ in Korea uses an industrial size jar of Tibhar Clean Fix and a hair dryer (cool setting) to assemble all their bats. Works quick and effecient for them.

The 25 ML version of the stuff should be an essential must-buy item for anyone wanting to glue on some modern rubber right out of their ruck at the club.

Thanks Der_Echte! I guess that would be this one?

I thought that was for re-filling the small bottles? Does this one come with it's own applicator?

Yes DeHaggis, you have the correct can of Whoop-Em.

They used a clip attached to a short handle with some sponge larger than the tiny yellow sponge.

You get a hold of that bottle of glue, you will never use 1/10 of it, unless your name is DeHaggis and you run a TT pro shop. :D

Also watch out for dried out glue sticking to the lid. If you screw the lid on too tight with wads of dried glue on it will break the tip top and cause you to cry. The lid of that Tibhar Bottle is very very flimsy so take extra care to clean up the dried up glue and dont allow any build-up on the lid area even if it wastes a bit of the glue there. Take a lot of extra caution getting the lid back on the bottle and dont twist too hard or too tight :P And if it is too loose it is going to leak :P

Who was it who was recommending latex body paint? Igor, wasn't it? That probably does come in liter bottles. And in colors, and glitters. The thing I'd like to know is how clubbers with said body paint prevent themselves from sticking to each other - surely they bump into one another when dancing in the nightclub....

The VS top is much too watery. I used one time and threw the rest of the bottle away.

Why ARE there three different types? Is one of them specially for large pore sponge?

Why do you like it better than others?

I was making note of the practicality of the 25 mm size. I used to have one of that size (Andro?) with me in Korea. Such a size of glue is a must have in one's tt bag to be ready for everything.

Damn, a quick search on eBay shows pricing not dissimilar to table tennis glue. You only get more colourful "glue" and labels on the jars that will get you some odd looks.

Let's just say that searching for "latex body paint" on aliexpress, at least from Australia, doesn't bring up any table tennis-related results, unless you play table tennis with your butt and various other bits hanging out.

Hmm...

http://www.liquidlatex.com/clear-32oz-l ... metic.html

16 ounces (that's a whole pint, maybe 450ml) for $13.70 - quite cheap... if it works.

What's the point of TRANSPARENT body paint, though???? I hear it's quite the in thing to go clubbing wearing latex body paint and sneakers (and nothing else - and I imagine you'd want to shave thoroughly beforehand, if you want a relatively pain-free "undressing" when you get home..) - but if it does work as table tennis glue, wouldn't you end up sticking to similarly "dressed" people you bump into?

I see what you mean...

Oh yeah.. it WAS Igor who suggested the body paint. However did I guess....
