Hadraw VK is some variation of Korbel.

Update on which setups u prefer the most, the hadraw looks very nice in pics, havent been able to lay my hands on it yet.

She had a pretty lengthy conversation with a girl that worked at the store.
So she was pretty well informed on what to buy...........however, this also gave my wife enough information to block any future EJ moves. :D

Wow, she's a keeper.

And those pictures of the shop! Heaven! I wish there was something like that here, but this market certainly couldn't support that.

That shelf with the rubbers, looks like rubbers in file. Reminds me of how people used to sort through vinyl albums or CDs back in the day! WOW.

I was thinking the same thing. Much like buying records back in the day.
So many choices in blades and rubbers.

Indeed. Definitely a keeper. A dream come true.

Re: A market that would support a shop like this......there's definitely an active market here.
That shops monthly coaching schedule is almost full.

I would be great If TT were much bigger in the states.

We went to the TT Kokusai shop that is near Shibuya station.

A map is listed here. Scroll down for the shop in Shibuya.

I wanted to post some pictures, because the shop was pretty cool to visit.

Omigod..

The exact opposite of this was the shop I visited in Bandung last year. The shop mainly sold antiques, and had a cyber café in the other half (think a couple rows of oldish PCs on a table). All the table tennis blades and rubber were in one small glass-fronted cabinet (which also looked like an antique), and there was a small glass display counter with some glue and other accessories in the front of the shop.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. I'd love to visit one of those shops......I guess we all would.

I like the look of that blade you have, specs seems very good.

Thanks Cobalt,

The Hadraw and the Korbel seem to be pretty close to one another as far as the catalog and reviews indicate. But for me, at my "boot" level (slang for a beginner)......having blades that aren't too far apart from each other, but with different rubbers, shouldn't be too much of a problem when switching back and forth.

I'm flying back home tomorrow. I'll have a chance to hit some balls in the evening.

@ TTBuddy:........What a treat to be able to visit stores like this.
There's nothing like these stores where I live.

Cheers,
Mitch
