If you were to lay out all your bats, all your rubbers, all your table tennis equipment on the floor and your wife/husband/partner/alter ego said "you may keep just 1 blade, 1 forehand rubber, 1 backhand rubber and 1 pair of trainers" Which would you choose?

Please don't over think it. Please don't go in to detail. Act from your heart, not your head and accept within in yourself the decision you make. Or not. ;)

I only have 1 blade. Keep the blade.

I only have 2 "fresh enough" rubbers dating to late last year that are on the one blade - I do keep the old ones though - the immediate cast-offs were about 3-4 years old used 1 or at most 2 times a week. Keep the rubbers currently on the one blade.

I have 2 pairs of "trainers". The current ones are still fairly pristine (Addidas Trail runners, go figure), while the previous ones have bits of the uppers falling off and the soles are so thin that I can almost feel the floor through them, Soon to be consigned to gardening etc. Keep the current trainers.

So, not very guilty, your honour. I look forward to hearing the special pleadings of those of a more EJ persuasion.

I will admit to having a number of table tennis shirts: 4 - 5 club shirts, 4 state shirts, one national veterans president team shirt, 1 commemorative shirt from each of the national veterans I have attended (3), edited to add: 1 OOAK shirt. Keep the OOAK shirt.

PS I was expecting this to be a thread to be reported given the title. Pleasantly surprised at the content.

For me it would always be the one that I've been using for competition.

This is an unexpectedly brief comment from a defendant whose TT stockpile would qualify for the "trial of the century". ;)

Love it.

Blade: Primorac OFF-

If you'd asked me a week ago, I'd definitely have said Andro Hiloom, which I've used pretty much non stop since August 2014. But having "accidentally" tried a Primorac OFF- (ironically the first blade I ever bought), I'm completely in love.

FH Rubber: Tenergy 05 2.1

If I'm forced to make a choice based on what I have right now, this is it. I've made the decision to evolve my style towards spinning the ball more, so I need an inverted rubber. I've been using T05 this week, and while people have made a case for using something a little less "advanced", it's working well, and it's proven. Alternatives based on what I have right now don't compare favourably.

BH Rubber: Grass Dtecs OX

Easy one. Very happy with this.

I submit, your honour, that the defendant is playing with semantics. Throw the book at him - not the catalogue - your honour.

Good point, I'd never considered shirts as symptomatic of the EJ virus!

None of the above... it would be:
TSP Trinity Carbon, Victas 401, Spinlord Dornenglanz OX

Very tough situation you've put me in, Debater...

I guess, I'd have to stick to my current setup:

Victas Matsushita Pro ST | Victas VS>401 2.0mm | Dtecs 0.5mm

As far as trainers, I like the New Balance Minimus line.

I think I'd try to cut a deal, by throwing the other members of the gang under the bus. (Talk about your mixed metaphors!)
