Medium blade for me......all wood, a little flex and decent speed......then hard rubber for forehand and power, softer backhand for more spin and control.

Medium-soft to soft on hard to very hard blade for me, preferredly.
I consider the Yinhe T-7 to be quite soft, at least in comparison to the Palio TCT and the Palio WAY-003, so I tend to use somewhat harder rubbers on this blade whereas I do like the softer rubbers on the 2 Palios.

This has made me to use the Dawei 388D-1 1mm on the WAY-003 and the RITC 755 M3 is placed on the Yinhe T-7.
For me it's not only the sponge that's responsible for the harder/softer feeling of a rubber since the 755 M3 does feel quite hard in comparision to Kokutaku 110 and Dawei 388D-1.

Contrary to my usual flexy blade medium rubber,getting better results with a hard t2(shaved at the throat for a hint of flex) with 05 fx,I`m surprised how easy to control this is given the huge jump in speed

Nice post, I’m Curious what people think about mid mid. I appreciated the Japanese article provided and the general Gide lines it presented its interesting to think about. As someone already pointed out there is a big range between hard and soft and what people are calling hard and soft, with different characters or traits coming in with materials etc. I guess most often I’ve settled on a mid blade with mid rubbers. Or what I think of as mid hardness any way. Examples of that would be tibhar power wood (which is listed as mid hardness) with tibhar els (45 sponge with a stiffer top sheet) on the forehand with Stiga genesis m on the back, or some times a softer (42) Dhs gold arch 5 on the back. Or the same rubbers with again the mid hardness Avalox blue thunder 555, or Avalox p-500. These set up’s have worked really well for me and it what I’ve played while I have received the most growth.

Full disclosure I also like mid and hard. most recently a friend of mine gave me a few sheets of joola golden tango to try out after using his set up. With out thinking I threw them on a dhs 301 (carbon listed as mid but a probably slightly stiffer than the all wood blades) and the blue thunder 555 and started playing it. its different but it also plays great. Good enough that I have not been in a hurry or even thought about a order new to replace my normal ELS forehand rubbers. At the time I did not know the golden tangos were 54 deg hardness, I probably would not have ordered them for myself if I would have know that just because the mid mid seemed to be working. I guess that why it’s good to have friends. I suppose this setup would probably come closest to the first example from the the article.

I have a question. Is this a good combination: Andro rasanter r48 and andro rasanter r47 on Butterfly Maze Magic blade? If you guys could answer this, it would be great. Thanks.
