Hey All,

newbie here who recently moved on from my Killerspin JET 600 after playing with it for a almost two years to a custom blade in order to improve my game.

Opted for the Butterfly Sriver EL and Tenergy 05 on a Yasaka Extra Offensive blade... I'm starting to get the hang of the Tenergy 05 and really starting to enjoy it.. However I regret getting the Sriver EL as I feel it dosent suit my playstyle as well as the killerspin JET 600(which uses Killerspin Nitrx 4Z rubber) did.

The chops and defensive blocks fall short(compared to my killerspin) and go into the net .Also the chops get really lobbed up instead of being low (and floating like) .Also my forehand shots arent fast and again fall short sometimes.

Could you guys please recommend some decent rubbers that I could use on my forehand for fast smashes(not so much for looping because I will use my Tenergy 05 for that)

But read some of the reviews... It says "Made in China", maybe you'd be happy with another Chinese rubber instead of Sriver. Maybe this one?

Haha I thought about that but I've already gone overboard and bought the Tenergy 05,dont want to spend more money.


Regarding the Nitrx 4z rubber,i thought about that but want to go a step up from that.The other Chinese rubbers that you mentioned, how are they similar to Nitrx 4z?

I've no idea what the Nitrzcx is like, so I can't say. If it's Chinese there's a 95% possibility that you won't be able to tell the difference between it and another Chinese rubber. Though it might be one of those rare non-tacky ones, in which case you might want to try Yinhe Mars II or 729 Focus 3 Snipe instead. Get the Yinhe 9000 or Batwings anyway - it's only $10 for 2 sheets including shipping, so why not?
