Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Wasn't sure where to post. But I'm looking to get a table and was wanting to keep it in my garage. I'm in California and it gets to around 112 in the summer and was wondering if having the table in my garage would warp the wood. I'm looking to get a table with a 1" thick surface. The joola dx30 championship table to be exact.

Hi Ruqua1, I think it should be ok. I keep my table outside in Australia under the back pergola where it sometimes gets in the 40c area (over 100F) and down to 0 and its now been through 2 summers and nearly 2 winters and no problems. I keep a cover on it and its usually not in the direct sunlight. The only thing I wonder is if its 112 outside, whats it in the garage. Might be something you should ask Joola about there recommendations.

You can see some comments about my table here: -

Install one of those whirligig exhaust turbine thingies on the roof... Playing at 112 degrees can't be too healthy..

Lucky you didn't play with Jixiaolan and I, the 1st venue was like a microwave and the 2nd, an oven, but the sun had gone down then, made Rohan's place feel positively chilly, !
