My OX LP is glued with a gluesheet. It's fine. It works well. However, for some reason, it's come slightly unglued right where the end of my index finger rests - only 5mm maybe, but enough that I can feel, and enough that it sometimes catches, awkwardly, when twiddling. Any recommendations for patching it up - ie glueing it down again? I don't imagine it'll alter how it plays, because the ball almost never hits that part of the blade. Thoughts? |

When I run into this, I usually address it with a bit of transparent sticky ('Scotch' in the US) tape. Just to keep it down. |

Single sided. It's usually where my finger rests, part of tape on rubber, part on blade, so it does not get too loose. |

Here is what I done when faced with the same issue. Use something very thin and flat to apply a small but sufficient amount of glue (I used water based glue) to the underside of the rubber and on the blade. Lift the rubber off the blade for a while to allow for drying. Then gently press back onto the blade. Thereafter put a small bulldog clip (clothes clip is also fine) for about 5-10 minutes along the edge of the re-stuck area to apply some pressure to ensure a good seal. Place a small and soft folded piece of cloth/paper between the clip and the edge so that the clip does not mark or damage the rubbers. Job done! |

I've re-glued using a small kids paint brush and WBG, holding the sheet up with a toothpick or something like that. I've also used my fly fishing fly-tying kit to hold the rubber up if it's super tricky. Oh and clamp as TTBuddy said. Because it's near the edge, I don't really care too much about it being precise. But even better, use double-sided tape...just plain old double-sided scotch tape. It held well. |

If it's small I'll just use a little rubber cement. It'll curl a little. When dry just roll it down and put some books on top for a few minutes. |
