Question, why the list for thin rubbers? How is it useful if you are combining LPs/SPs/inverted in the same list? Just curious.

Yes, I find this list very useful for thin-sponged inverted glue-effect rubberm because these are hard to find, and are still very popular for defensive players. Joola Tango Defensive used to be available in 1.2mm, which was quite popular in our area but was discontinued years ago... people are still looking for alternatives.

Perhaps my question wasn't clear enough. I understand why one would want to create a thin rubber list. I created a fairly comprehensive thin inverted list in excel format (look in my signature). But I targeted thin INVERTED rubbers for the exact reasons HaggisV cited.

What I find weird is why include LPs and SPs in the same list? It would make more sense to put those in a separate list because they are different in utility. And, isn't it assumed that an LP will be thin? (I know not all have speedglue effect however)

It's not like if I was looking for a thin speedglue effect rubber, one would debate the merits of Dtecs (LPs) vs. Victas VS > 401 (inverted).

(Btw, the VS > 401 should be added to your list, it comes in 1.5mm).

The list would be too small otherwise. It's small enough as it is right now with all rubber types allowed and there is still plenty of room for discussion. it doesn't take much effort to discern which rubber is which.

You answered the second part of your question, most don't have a speedglue effect. The other conditions that I asked to be met were mostly aimed at short pips and inverted considering it's a comprehensive list. However, should a long pip rubber in 1.7mm or thicker exist, it does not qualify either.
