I designed this tonight because even though I have a Pong Pal, I have three kids and they all want to pick up balls at the same time.

Nice! But won't it be simpler to just buy a 1"5/8 PVC pipe, drill a hole through it near one bottom end, and string heavy-duty rubber band through the holes ???

Yeah. Good idea. I should make some. There is no such thing as 1-5/8 PVC.
1.5 inch will work if CL200 or thinner wall.

I redesigned the part so that you can slide it onto a 1.5" PVC pipe. Schedule-40 is too thick for 40+ balls. CL-200 is best, but Home Depot didn't have it. I also made a version for 2.0 inch Vacuum line that Home Depot has.
