Hi, all. I've created a unique table tennis grip that I cast in resin and now I wish to attach it to my blade. I have stripped the handle down to the 5 core plies (I took off the rounded parts of the handle) and my resin pieces have flat surfaces to abut the now flat handle. I don't want to simply glue the resin pieces onto the handle since this new grip is experimental and may require further refinement. I was thinking of screwing the pieces to the handle and have created flat areas in the resin pieces in which to place the screws. If one were to screw a resin-plastic handle (of VERY unique shape) onto a wooden handle, which screws would one use and would one use any additional techniques like first boring a hole the width of the screw's core (not at the diameter of the thread) to avoid splitting? Any feedback would be appreciated and may just save the life of a paddle!

I'd drill a clean hole through the blade and go nylon nut and bolt to avoid changing the balance of the bat. You could even forgo the nut and just drill and tap your resin piece.

You could glue with hot glue towards the outside and then use Isopropyl Alcohol to remove it.

I ended up drilling pilot holes and using very small wood screws. It worked to perfection! Thanks for weighing in, you guys! :)
