All, i have a huge mess in our mud room, which is where I do all of my TT equipment assembly and modification.

Currently I have rubbers laying around all over the place. It's awful. And the wife is getting pissed. :D
If I want to keep my hobby, I'm going to need a way to organize these rubbers better.

Any suggestions? How do you do it?

For the rubbers, I was thinking of several 3 ring binders with plastic sleeve inserts.

How do you store the blades?

Lets see who has the nicest workstation/organization, and let's see who gets the worst. Post some pics!

Goodness.. isn't a few tote bags enough?

And what's a mud room?? Yeah, the three ring binder sounds good for the rubbers...

Haha, I asked the same thing when I moved out here to the east coast (US).

A mud room is sort of intermediary room between the yard and the house. Not quite a garage, not quite a living space, kind of a utility room. It’s usually semi-finished. Often the washer and dryer are also found in there. You kick your shoes off here and store them... hence “mud.”

The term is common in the mid-Atlantic and the south, and also some NE states. As a westerner, never heard of it prior.

Here are some super nice mudrooms:

Ok, I have a small storage compartment in one of the cupboards dedicated to my TT stuff. It is 2 feet deep, 2 feet wide and about three feet three inches tall with a shelf in the middle, so that means two sections about 18 inches tall. Then I have one tote bag with my daily stuff, balls, towel, knee braces, blades and wrist bands etc. This is my regular in-use stuff. It has three blades, about a dozen balls, water bottle and the other stuff. Then I have boxes in the cupboard. Three have blades, one has balls, two have rubbers. Some blades are in original boxes inside the larger boxes. The rubbers are all in ziplock bags unless they are brand new, in which case they are in their original packing. And there is still room to spare in the compartment.

Go here: http://ooakforum.com/viewforum.php?f=10 List everything apart from one blade, two rubbers and a pair of shoes. Wait for the money to roll in, then buy your wife a nice present.

Climate controlled I hope? Don't know what hot summers and cold winters do to table tennis blades...
