I'm about to go on an EJ binge and try a few of my old rubbers on different blades. I'm needing to buy more glue and looking for something that might come off the rubber easily rather than accumulate layer after layer.

Previously I've used Donic Vario Clean and I'm happy with the way it holds the rubber however when removing the glue layer stays fixed to the sponge. Perhaps I'm not using enough.

I've seen Revolution 3 Glue which apparently comes off the rubber easily however this might be due to the thickness that is applied in the first place. I tend to use as little as I can get away from.

Are there any glues that are removed from the rubber easily?

I've definitely found the thicker ones easiest to remove. I've never used Rev 3 but it looks quite thick. DHS No 15 is another. However I've found the thinner ones easier to apply, like Vario Clean and Free Chack. So i use them now and don't bother trying to remove the thin layer if I reuse the rubber.

The other thing you could try instead of buying something different is several layers of Vario.

I found Dianchi glue very easy to remove. Roll up a corner and stretch/pull, just like removing an iphone battery

Removing an iPhone battery is easy to do?

I used to use DingJi water based cement, available from Tenryu. Fairly easy to remove once there was a substantial amount of it on there. Haven't really been removing cement since I switched to Elmer's Rubber Cement, though - can't imagine it'd be too hard to do but I don't see any reason to do so.

I got a build up of Elmers on my T05 after many times regluing and felt it was time to get it off,it peeled off easily enough but some small chunks of sponge came with it,wouldn't be a problem with smaller pore type sponges, the t05 performance is much better with less layers btw

I can confirm that the Rev №3 glue is easily removed. This is the main glue that we use in our club. :Chop:

Hi, Yes! Everything after iphone 6 has the "glue tab", gives a nice "click" when you pulled it off right. Been changing batteries myself for the past 3 years. I'm all about acoustic quality, even when choosing rubber/blade combos. Speaking of which, the Nittaku Acoustic with Crack rubbers sounds just up my alley :P .
